Fulbright Publishing was hosted
by both Mayor Richard Crotty and Mayor Buddy Dyer on Thursday,
April 3rd from 6pm-8:30pm at the Downtown City Arts Factory
building in downtown Orlando (corner of Orange Ave. & Pine
St.) with special guest Harriet Fulbright, Ambassador of the
Fulbright International Exchange Program and wife of late
Senator Fulbright.
People wore cultural/traditional attire to heighten the impact
of the global diversity that
were in attendance or Business attire. |

Chinatown Lunar New Year Celebration at West Colonial Drive outside 1st Oriental Supermarket on Feb 9 & 10. There were the showcase of Traditional Chinese Dragon, Lion Dance, Kung Fu, Japanese Drum and Judo Martial Art performances for 2 days. Great performances and full with applause..... |

Vietnamese New Year Celebration at Fairground on Jan 26 & 27, and Feb 16 & 17. There were packed with people, delicious foods, and entertainment through day and night until 2am. It was great fun!!

Foundation. All proceeded to benefit former head basketball

Asian Student Achievers Scholarship

AAHC held annual student achievers sholarship
program at the Marriott Hotel Downtown Orlando on November
18th 2007. We are proud of over 40 young stars who have showed
significant accomplishments in the year of 2007. Asian Alliance
proudly sponsored entertainment program for the event. May
our children strive to improve their talents and preserve our
Asian heritage as they grow in America. |

Pine
Hills Summit
(October 11, 2007)

than 100 people gathered at the Pine Hills community center
to talk about how to change the image which Pine Hills
is known as Crime Hills. Eleanor Wong, property manager
of West Crossing Associate Condominium was also there to
share her opinions on the issue.

National Day at the Westside Crossing Plaza. Double
Ten Day is the national
day of the Republic
of China (ROC; now in Taiwan)
and celebrates the start of the Wuchang
Uprising of October
10, 1911 (1911-10-10),
which led to the collapse of the Qing
Dynasty. It is therefore also known in Chinese as National
Celebration Day (traditional
Chinese: 國慶日;

Moon Festival 2007 was held at the parking lot in front
of the 1st Oriental Market. The event was organized by
Asian Alliance in conjunction with Westside crossing condominum
association. The event featured Chinese acrobat shows,
Caribbean steel drum and Children's talent contest. We
as Asian Alliance would like to thank Sponsors, supporters
and all the people who made an appearance at the event. |

A luncheon organized by the Leagues of Woman Voters on June 26 2007 at Doc's Restaurants. The guest speakers were Lee Constantine-FL Senate district 22 and Scott Randolph Fl House district 36. This event has been occurring every month to review and update important issues that are being discussed in Tallahassee. It also gives all attendees an opportunity to be interactive with the speakers about the issues. |

took place at the Orange County Convention Center from May
19-20, 2007. There were about 500 exhibitors and about 200
Business booths on site. Thousands of products of home safety
were displayed, seminars were conducted to provide need-to-know

Asian Gala 2007

A yearly banquet to celebrate Asian American Heritage Month took place in Buena Vista Palace on Saturday, May 19 2007 at 6:30 pm. This event also helped raising money for Scholarship fund to honor students who qualified for the Scholarship program. Asian Alliance deeply involved in this event that showed as such unity of many different organizations coming together for the same goal. Leadership recognition was also nominated during the program. |

International Heritage Month

The
world Trade Center Of Orlando had put together an event
to celebrate an "International Heritage Month" on May 17
2007. Like every year this event was often being held at
the downtown of Orlando City Hall. Participated groups
were mostly Non-profits organizations that also provided
their traditional food and culture dance for entertainment.
It opened for public started at 6:30 pm and last until
9:30 pm. |

Master the Art of Health & Beauty

On
Sunday, April 1st, 2007. Florida Hospital's group has
put together an wellness event called "Health & Beauty".
This event took place at Orlando Museum Of Art. It
begun at 10am and lasted until 4pm. It covered most
of women health concern prior to pregnancy during and
after giving birth. It also covered topics of women's
heart health, bones, digestive disorder and so on.
It was a very useful event for Asian Alliance to attend
since we are focusing on educating and providing good
information of health to our community. This event
has strongly confirmed our belief in every healthy
person begin with a good lifestyle.

A Regional Partnership
CAPITOL CONNECTION 2007

Asian
Alliance along with Asian American Chanber of Commerce,
Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce, East Orlando Chamber of
Commerce, Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce,
West Orange Chamber of Commerce, the Winter Park Chamber
of Commerce, Orlando Regional Chamber, and the University
of Central Florida had made a trip to Tallahassee for the
Capitol Connection 2007 events. This event took place on
Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th of March 2007. The event
has brought us an awareness of many important issues which
are affecting our lives as Floridiancs. Special thanks to
West Orange Chamber of Commerce, Seminole County Regional
Chamber of Commerce Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce,
East Orlando Chamber of Commerce, Winterpark Chamber of
Commerce, and Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce who had well
coordinated and organized the event. They contributed greatly
to a better future of our sunshine state.

March 10th, 2007 at Orange County Convention Center. There
were approximately 500 exhibitors and about 200 hundreds
business booths. The show ran from 9th to 11th of March,

ITB
Berlin is a prime meeting place, a marketplace, and a driving
force behind the entire industry. The exhibition area and
various segments, along with the comprehensive congress
programme and supporting events represent the entire product
spectrum of the tourist industry. At the same time, they
form the basis for the development of new ideas, global
approaches and targeted marketing. We, Asian Alliance participated
to witness the economic growth of India, China and an importance
of global warming as well as our most concerns for our environments.

An Affair of
the Heart

Affair of the Heart took place in Sea World. This event
was purposed to raise fund for local heart patients program.
We, Asian Alliance participated in this event to express
our commitment in helping our community. This event was
presented by Florida Hospital cardiovascular Institute and
Sea World.

Lunar
New Year 2007 (Feb 18, 2007)
Diverse
ethnic groups gathered together at Avalon Park and celebrated
Lunar New Year. The event was purposed to create a sense of
togetherness in diverse culture in Central Florida and orchestrated
by Asian Alliance Inc along with African American chamber
of commerce, Hispanic chamber of commerce, Caribbean chamber
of commerce and East Orlando chamber of commerce. The event
program was sponsored by Avalon Park.
